Score your About-block for AI visibility.

The boilerplate at the bottom of your press release is what ChatGPT and Perplexity pull when someone asks "what does [Company] do?". Paste it in. Get scored on five signals in 15 seconds.

How this works. Paste your existing "About [Company]" boilerplate. Home Plate scores it across five signals AI answer engines use to decide whether your entity description is worth citing: Product/Service Description, ICP Identification, Entity Disambiguation, Clarity, and Originality. Year founded, awards, and mission statements are deliberately not scored — LLMs pull those from other structured sources.

The About-block is one signal. There are eight more.

The Scout scores your full release on eight AI-visibility signals. Pitch'd builds the whole release with a pre-finalize audit that runs both — The Scout and Home Plate — before you send.

Why the boilerplate matters more than you think.

When ChatGPT is asked "what does [Company] do?", it pulls from wherever the clearest entity description sits. Press release boilerplates are one of the most cited sources because they are structured, appear consistently across every release, and read as the canonical description.

What LLMs want: a plain-English sentence naming what the company does, who it serves, and where it is based. A named product or industry. A geographic anchor.

What LLMs skip: generic template phrases ("a leading provider of," "committed to delivering," "innovative solutions"), award mentions, taglines, and founder-story flourishes. Home Plate flags these and shows you which signals are missing.
